Mischa Barton Busted for DUI

TMZ has confirmed that Mischa Barton has been arrested on suspicion of DUI, possession of marijuana and a controlled substance and driving without a valid license.

According to a press release issued by the L.A. County Sheriff's Department, the former "O.C." star was pulled over early this morning around 2:45 AM as she was driving in West Hollywood, Calif. Cops say she "was seen straddling two lanes of traffic and failed to signal when making a turn." When deputies pulled her over, they determined that she "was an unlicensed driver and was driving while under the influence of an alcoholic beverage."

Barton is still in custody, being held on $10,000 bail. The L.A. County Sheriffs' Inmate Information website called her "Mischa Burton." Sources tell us that Mischa has been "very cooperative" and "no trouble at all." She's a good bad girl!

116. whatever. is it possible that for the new year you can show us less of the selfish, spoiled brat celebrites who dont really give a rat's ass about anything else in this world other than themselves and focus on the positive things some celebrities do? i am so tired of seeing these young actors and actresses who truly are going to be 'nobody's' by hollywood standards in a few years anyway...(their choice, but the way they chose to live their lives).

120. Poor Mischa! She's been working so hard since leaving The O.C., with nine films either just released or awaiting release in the next few months. Unlike the "average" young celeb, she's NOT a bad girl or a party animal. Sure, she's made a mistake here, but who doesn't?? So you know-all bashers should just leave her alone and let her work through this on her own.
