"Thundercats" to Roar on the Big Screen

ThundercatsMore than 20 years after they put their first hurtin' on the evil Mumm-Ra and his band of bad guys, Lion-O, Panthra, Snarf and the rest of the Thundercats are finally going to kick some ass on the big screen!!! Thundercats, hooooo!!!

Warner Bros. has put plans in motion to turn the cult '80s cartoon classic into a live-action project.

The upcoming adventure flick, set to be produced by Paula Weinstein, Dick Robertson and Lew Korman -- falls on the heels of plans to bring "He-Man" to theaters as well. By the power of Greyskull, what is going on here?

No timetable has been set yet for a release.

Feel the magic, hear the roar

4. I was TOTALLY addicted to this cartoon as a kid. Lion-O was so badass and Panthro was Mr. Cool. Can't wait to see this one!

5. It is exciting that they are making live action, remakes of old shows.....But at the same time, It is kinda sad to see my whole childhood be remade, redone, and updated. Are there no new ideas?

14. This is an utter and complete joke, right???!!! They could make Akira, Star Blazers aka Space Cruiser Yamato, Gundam, Thundaar, Johnny Quest, Captain Harlock, and or Robotech into live action films...but instead, the idiots in Hollywood have choosen to make The Thundar Cats and He-Man???!!!


They have to be on some really great drugs!!!

15. No body remembers those other shows minus robotech or johnny quest. Thundercats will be a most awesome movie if cast correctly. Can't wait till transformers!
